When you book a pro, your payment is held securely by our payment provider (Stripe) — not by the pro and not by ChoreHero. The pro doesn't get paid until the job is complete and you've had a chance to review it. If something's wrong, we hold the funds while we sort it out.
Pros get paid out within 24 hours of job completion, directly to their bank via Stripe Connect. No checks, no chasing.
Joining is free. There are three tiers: Starter (free, 1 active service, 15% commission per booking), Pro ($9.99/mo, 3 services, 8% commission), and Hero Plus ($19.99/mo, unlimited services, 4% commission). Lower commission, more reach. Upgrade or downgrade anytime.
